found: Conservation and preservation in small libraries, 1994:ack. (Parker Library; Corpus Christi College, Cambridge) p. 8 (cf. R.I. Page--by its name, the Parker Library addresses our minds to Matthew Parker, Master of Corpus Christi Coll. from 1544 to 1553; the very title, the Parker Library, is, I believe, a recent one, apparently coined when the College's undergraduate library was founded as a special collection in the early years of this century; this was housed in its own room, and eventually named the Butler Library [no publs. in LC database] in memory of Sir Geoffrey Butler, historian, who died in 1929; at that time, I assume, the old library became distinguished as the Parker Library, and the name has stuck)
