found: Printed birth and baptismal certificates of the German Americans, volume 7, 2014:page 11 (Klaus Stopp was born 11 July 1926 in a suburb of Radebeul, Germany; attended University of Mainz where he studied botany and pharmacy and gained his doctorate in 1949. Became a specialist in ethnobotany and in 1962 he was appointed professor of pharmacognosy at the Johnnes-Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz, educating young pharmacists until his retirement in 1988. A collector of maps since 1955, he authored works on German maps and cartobibliography. He also authored a major technical study of the birth and baptismal certificates of Pennsylvania Germans printed in America during the eighteenth and nineteenth century. Stopp died suddenly on 6 June 2006 at his home in Mainz)
