(Gebhard I. von Waldburg. Gebhard Truchsess von Waldburg-Trauchburg (born November 10, 1547 in Heiligenberg; died May 31, 1601 in Strasbourg) was Elector and Archbishop of Cologne and Duke of Westphalia (1577-1583). He converted to Protestantism, married, and wanted to secularize the archbishopric. This triggered opposition from the majority of the Cologne cathedral chapter. Both sides, supported by foreign allies, fought each other in the Cologne War, which Gebhard eventually lost)
