    • found: Email to Anthony Garnett, Garnett Books, Fine bookseller of St. Louis, Missouri, exchanged November 21, 2013 : (Dennis Hall started by teaching and working at the Oxford Polytechnic (now Oxford Brooke's University) which had a press - the Inky Parrot Press. When the school cancelled that program, Dennis set up on his own but was not allowed to take the Inky Parrot name with him - hence the "Previous Parrot" imprint. ... he has played with the name, sometimes matching the imprint name to the title in hand ...He was later able to take back to Inky Parrot name and has sometimes used that too. "Inky Parrot" was used at the [Oxford Polytechnic] Tech from 1980-1987. Dennis used "Hanborough Parrot" from 1987-1990, "Previous Parrot" from 1991-1999, "Inky Parrot" from 1999 on)
