Markus-Passion, 1965?: notes (Choeur des jeunes, Lausanne; "The Choir of Young Ones" (Le Choeur des jeunes) was first formed about 16 years ago with the idea of giving the church in the canton of Vaud a high standard of choral singing. The prime movers included the church's Pastor Girardet, Hermann Lang, a singing-master at the teacher's training-college in Lausanne, and André Charlet, who trained and led the new choir. Soon they were performing in the parishes of the district and in time also appeared in concert-halls in Geneva, Lausanne and Montreux. They have recorded Honegger's Le Roi David and Cantate de Noël and Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms)
