Feist, July 15, 2002 (The promotion to Duke takes place in a period between Prince of the Blood [Riftwar stories series, 1989] and Shadow of a Dark Queen [Serpentwar saga series, 1995]. It never happens "on camera". Jimmy the Hand does become Squire James, Baronet James, Baron James, and then Duke James through the series.)
