Mrs. Roosevelt moderates the points of view expressed by her guests and remains politically neutral. Today's topic is: The forty-ninth state, a discussion of statehood for Alaska and Hawaii. Also in this epidode, Mrs. Roosevelt and Brig. Gen. David Sarnoff were honored for their contributions to better understanding among Americans by the Joint Defense Appeal which represents both the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith and the American Jewish Committee.
