Summary
Charlie and his faithful bulldog have found a frankfurter. Charlie is very hungry, but the dog must have the first bite. The dog, however, refuses to touch it until Charlie sprinkles some salt on it. Charlie then passes the training quarters of Spike Dugan, the champion prize fighter, and learns that sparring partners are wanted. On the night of the big fight Charlie, billed as the Jersey Mosquito has reached the fourth round and is taking a beating. His dog finally enters the ring and belabors the antagonist while Charlie scores a knockout and then receives homage as the new champion.
