Summary
Satire on Hogarth's support for Lord Bute described as "An etching, referring to "The Times Plate I.", by Hogarth, No. 3970, and showing the street before the gatehouse of St. James's Palace, the "Scotch Car Pit Manufac Tory", on our left; at the windows are several persons, including one, the Duke of Bedford, as a trumpeter, on the banner of whose instrument fleurs-de-lis are embroidered under a dove bearing an olive branch..."
