Summary
A brief tour guide through the churches of rural Bolivia. These colonial structures, not always spectacular or sophisticated, and many damaged by modernization, robberies, neglect or architectural interventions hold undiscovered surprises and rare treasures. This descriptive edition includes 10 churches in the department of La Paz and 6 in the department of Oruro. The accompanying CD contains more than 1000 photographs of the churches studied.
