Summary
Print shows censors using long poles with hooks to pull books off shelves at the "Bibliotheque du Roi", some of them have large pairs of scissors hanging from their waist, and some appear to be copying sections from the books they have pulled from the shelves. One man, in the lower right corner, is wearing a large helmet over a hat, he is kneeling on the floor, copying from a play titled "Artaxerxe"; in the background, on the right, two men are fighting over a book labeled "Vaudeville".
