Summary
Engraved print shows birds-eye view map of the area between Antwerp, Bergen op Zoom, Hoogstraten and Willemstad in Belgium and the Netherlands during the 1631 Battle of the Slaak in the Netherlands. Also shown is the Scheldt river around the island ot Tholen and ships locked in the Volkerak tidal river. The Dutch victory prevented the Spanish from dividing the Dutch provinces.
