Summary
"Recent changes in higher education have been quite dramatic and substantial. For example, court decisions and policy changes to Title IX (which addresses sex discrimination in education) continue to evolve and change at a rapid pace. Topics of academic freedom & free speech, such as in relation to anti-Critical Race Theory legislation that has been proposed and enacted in multiple states, have also been affected by these changes. Recent Supreme Court decisions have affected areas in higher education such as religious freedom, reproductive rights, and the rights of college athletes. It is critical that individuals studying and preparing for a career in law of higher education are aware and informed of what these changes entail and how they affect educators and students"-- Provided by publisher.
