Miss Myrtle Dean of Atlantic, Iowa, one of the first American Red Cross nurses to land in France after war was declared (on the left) and Miss Minnie Parrishof Dalphos, New Mexico, also a Red Cross nurse on the principal street of Podgoritza, Montenegro.
