Rev. for which he received Bounty Land Warrant No. 28566-160-55; also showed naval service; served as private in Bailey's 34th Infantry during War of 1812 according to War of 1812 bounty lands in Ill.; issued land patent no. 13802 Jan. 3, 1818 for 160 acres in Illinois; he died in Shirley, Mass., 1847 and wife: Lucy Douglass Gowen applied for bounty land warrant in 1855)
