He was the first managing director of Radio Azadi in Prague, (Now Radio Farda) , after moving to The United States Mr Gorgin founded Radio OMID in Los Angeles and It was through the programs on this Radio that every weekdays Iranians were informed about the cultural activities and events in Los Angeles, and were introduced to many Iranian scholars, poets and authors visiting Los Angeles, or even those of living abroad. Mr Gorgin later on Channel 18 Television in Los Angeles, started an early morning news and interview programs)
