Beeching was born in Qu'Appelle Saskatchewan on June 22, 1913 and died in Regina January 9th. 1990. Bill Beeching joined the Communist Party of Canada (CPC) as a young man in the 1930's and in 1978 after his expulsion from the CPC on trumped up charges, founded the Committee of Canadian Communists (CCC) now called Canadians for Peace and Socialism (CPS).)
