Minda, a past president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and spiritual leader of Temple Israel here from 1922-1963, died Saturday [January 15, 1977] at the age of 81. A former international vice-president of the World Union for Progressive Judaism, he was born in Holton, Kansas. He was graduated in 1918 from the University of Cincinnati and was ordained by the Hebrew Union College in 1919. Rabbi Minda was active in civil and religious affairs in Minneapolis.
