found: Meier, Matt S. Mexican American biographies, 1988:page 86-87 (Catarino Garza, 1859-1902?, journalist, revolutionary, organizer. Born in Tamaulipas, Mexico, moved to Brownsville, Texas. Began his publishing career in Brownsville with his newspaper "El Bien Público". Moved to Eagle Pass, Texas where he founded "El Comercio Mexicano" in 1886 and "El Libre Pensador" in 1887. In 1888 he moved "El Comercio Mexicano" to Corpus Christie. Later established "El Correo" in San Antonio. Led a band of revolutionaries on the Texas-Mexico border between 1889 and 1893. Fled to Cuba and later to the Isthmus of Panama where he was killed.)
