found: African American women, 1993:pages 425-426 (Ida (Bell) Robinson, 1891-1946, founder of the largest African-American Pentecostal denomination headed by a woman, born in Hazellhurst, Georgia on August 3 but spent most of her childhood in Florida. Conducted prayer services in homes in Pensacola, Florida. Married and moved to Philadelphia, Pa. where in 1919 she became pastor of Mount Olive Holy Church. The United Holy Church (with which Mount Olive was affiliated) ended ordination of women pastors. She founded the Mount Sinai Holy Church of American in Philadelphia in 1924 where she preached and attracted 84 affiliate churches from New England to Florida, by 1946 ordaining 163 ministers, 125 of them women. Died April 20, 1946 in Florida.)
