found: Rummel, Jack. African-American social leaders and activists, ©2003:pages 192-193 (William Still, abolitionist, community activist and author of "The Underground Railroad". Born in Burlington County, New Jersey October 7, 1821. Moved to Philadelphia when he was 23 where he worked to find work for escaped slaves on the Underground Railroad, which he then wrote about in his "Underground Railroad." Later successfully campaigned to ban racial discrimination on rail cars in Pennsylvania. Died in Philadelphia on July 14, 1902.)
