found: Magnum cycling, 2016:page 253 (Harry Gruyaert; born 1941l; Belgian photographer; began his career in the worlds of fashion and industry while contributing to magazines and newspapers; he also worked as a director of photography for Flemish television; his personal work includes stories from Belgium, India, Egypt and Morocco; for his series TV Shots, Gruyaert photographed such events as the 1972 Munich Olympics and the Apollo missions as they were shown on a television set, choosing to use a British TV in London because the colours were more vivid and easier to capture on film; the series was later published in book form; in order to achieve the rich colours and vivid constrasts that became synonymous with his work, Gruyaert used Kodachrome film and the Cibachrome printimg process; Colour remains central to his photography, and the Kodachrome work is exemplified by his pictures of the 1982 Tour de France, taken the year after he first joined Magnum)
