found: Oxford DNB draft entry consulted 24 June 2010(William Butterworth, teenage slave ship sailor and engraver; born 2 Oct. 1769 in Leeds, Yorkshire; died 3 Oct. 1834; engraved the plates for "The young sea officer's sheet anchor" by Darcy Lever; published an account of his travels as "Three years adventures of a minor ..." which has been erroneously attributed to another Leeds engraver, Henry Schroeder, as "Three years of a miner's life" [sic])
