In 1962 he started the Daly and Max Studio with collaborators Thomas Daly and Peter Max. In the mid 60s, he drew NASA maps for the Goddard Institute for Space Studies. Working through Diener, Hauser & Greenthal he created posters for films including Clockwork Orange, The Godfather, Chitty-chitty-bang-bang. He worked on packaging and advertising design with Max Menikoff, including the Dove soap typefont.
