found: Oxford art online, February 19, 2015:(His de la Salle, (Aimé-Charles-) Horace born February 11, 1795; died April 28, 1878; son of Charles-Antoine-Hyacinthe His; served Louix XVIII at Ghent in 1815; left the military in 1826 to accompany his ailing mother to Italy, where she died. Began collecting prints and lithographs, especially military subjects by Nicolas-Toussaint Charlet and Théodore Gericault while still in the army. His collection was strong in drawings by early Italian masters and 17th-century Dutch and Flemish masters. Between 1851 and 1878 he donated approximately 320 drawings to the Louvre)
