Julius Klauser attended schools at Farmington and Hartford, Connecticut and in 1870 was sent to Germany to enter the Conservatory of Music at Leipzig. Returning from Germany in 1874, he came to Milwaukee, where he lived, taught and wrote for the remainder of his life. Julius Klauser died April 22, 1907.)
