found: Historical Society of the New York Courts WWW site, June 30, 2020(Addison Gardiner; born in Rindge, New Hampshire on March 19, 1797, to William Gardner, who served as a colonel of a local regiment and for three years as a member of the state legislature, and Rebecca (Raymond) Gardner; grandson of Isaac Gardner, of Brookline, Massachusetts; the family eventually settled in Manlius, Onondaga County, where William Gardner was a successful merchant and manufacturer.
