[Levinius Brown (1671-1764) was an expatriate English Jesuit, who studied in Rome and was admitted as a Jesuit novice in Watten (France) in 1693. He was rector of the English college in Rome from 1723 to 1731, then rector and master of novices at Watten. From 1733 to 1737 he was provincial of England and rector at Liége.]
