Ghost Rider was a Western avenger cloaked wholly in white in a 1950 Magazine Enterprises series; author unknown; interior art by Dick Ayers; 2. new Ghost Rider appeared in Marvel Comic Group's series Ghost Rider beginning in Feb. 1967; identical in appearance to the 1950 Ghost Rider; drawn by Dick Ayers; reprints available in 1974, but they were called Night Rider so as not to conflict with another Marvel Comics Ghost Rider; 3. a new Ghost Rider was brought out in 1972; written by Gary Friedrich and Tony Isabella and drawn by Mike Ploog and others; this one was a motorcyclist in the present time; a.k.a. Johnny Blaze; less supernatural and more superheroic; ended in 1983; 4. Ghost Rider revived in 1990 by Marvel; new costume and persona; teamed with many of the other superheroes)
