A Place in the Sun. All day long these boys and girls of Vienna (Tubercular because of insufficient food) lay in the sun at the Kinder Klinik (Children's Hospital) where American Red Cross condensed milk is used to supplement their ration. Some of the blankets in this photograph were sent to Vienna by the Red Cross to fill the severe shortage of the hospitals caused by the great increase in the number of patients as the foodstocks of the city became depleted
