Title

One of dozens of examples of exemplary public art and architecture, some old, some new, in the venerable "Steel City" of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. These are part of a remarkable piece of art at ground level that once were mounted far overhead. They're three of four 12-foot-high steel sculptures by Charles Keck that adorned the Manchester Bridge, which carried traffic over the Allegheny River, beginning in 1915. After the bridge was demolished in 1970, the bronze sculptures were saved and exhibited outside the old North Side Post Office for many years, then moved to a site near the Pittsburgh Steelers' Heinz Field
