Summary
Four-panel comic strip showing Pete, an old bearded prospector, and his young friend Kid Sid camping out in the snow. They hear an unidentified screech. The next morning, they begin to lay out their timber claim, but suddenly have to dive for cover when someone in an old cabin begins shooting at them. The strip, published in the Newark Evening News from Mar. 29-Oct. 2, 1926, was based on the cartoonist's experiences prospecting in the Klondike.
