Summary
Four-panel comic strip showing Pete, a bearded prospector, and his young friend Kid Sid, who have beat the villains Slim Jenkins and Tanglefoot Bill to the claims office. Pete settles a score by giving Slim two black eyes and Bill runs away. Pete and Sid count up the $10,000 they will get for the claim and plan to try prospecting in Alaska. The strip, published in the Newark Evening News from Mar. 29-Oct. 2, 1926, was based on the cartoonist's experiences prospecting in the Klondike.
