Sheet of 20 thirty-four cent postage stamps of reproductions of American illustrators work issued in February 2001 by the U.S. Postal Service including depiction of the pirate Captain Bill Bones by N.C. Wyeth from the 1911 edition of Treasure Island. Also first day issue of N.C. Wyeth stamp on envelope with reproduction of the N.C. Wyeth 1911 illustration of Old Pew for Treasure Island issued by the Mystic Stamp Company of Camden, NY with New York, NY cancellation of February 1, 2001. Accompanied by explanatory card (11 x 18 cm.) printed for an exhibition on pirates and enlarged color photocopy (28 x 22 cm.) of the N.C. Wyeth stamp.
