Summary
"Methane is an abundant resource with harmful environmental impacts. Consequently, the transformation of methane into chemical and fuel feedstocks is highly attractive, but historically this process has required energy-intensive, high temperature conditions to achieve selective dissociation of C-H bonds. Recently significant progress has been made in achieving low-temperature methane conversion, offering access to value-added chemicals and fuels under mild conditions for energy-efficient chemical synthesis and climate remediation."-- Provided by publisher
