found: New York times, Mar. 13, 2023:in an obituary in the "Overlooked" series on page B6 (Dilys Winn; born Dilys Barbara Winn on Sept. 8, 1939 in Dublin [Ireland], died on Feb. 5, 2016 in Asheville, N.C., aged 76; In 1972, Dilys Winn had an idea to open a bookstore that would see nothing but mystery stories, but she knew nothing about the book business. Nevertheless, when she opened Murder Ink on the Upper West Side of Manhattan the store was a success; in 1977, Winn partnered with Carol Brener, to whom she had sold her bookstore, and Carolyn Fiske, director of development at Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, N.Y. to master-mind an immersive whodunit at the resort. The Mohonk Mystery Weekend event proved so popular it was repeated annually, and is now in its 47th year)
