found: NLA Trove website, viewed 04 March 2019:People (Brady, Ethel A. (-1921). Ethel Brady was an accomplished pianist, arranger, composer, and conductor. She grew up in Balmain East, Sydney. Brady was a teacher at Paling's music house in Sydney, which also published her compositions. She wrote for the piano in the popular forms of her time, both under her own name and under the pseudonym Marcelle Christian. Brady married a Johan F. Faassen in Batavia (now Jakarta, Indonesia) in August 1919, and died there shortly after giving birth to twins in 1921)
