The champeta is a hybrid style made up of the rhythms of the Caribbean, Cumbia, Comps̀, Soca, Calypso, Reggae, combined with the sounds of several countries of the African continent, such as Soukous, Mbaqanga, Bikutsi, Highlife, Juju and Congolese rumba.
