It was again destroyed by fire in 1857 and replaced by King's Amphitheatre which was razed the following year. Grover's National Theater opened at the same location and remained until 1873 when another fire destroyed it. Rebuilt as the National Theatre, it burned in 1885. It was rebuilt as the New National Theatre which was also destroyed. It was rebuilt as the National Theatre in 1922, which is now the current structure.)
